Included in your purchase
A Blender file, containing :
- Helium balloon letters : A - Z (all upper case), in a 'Letters' Collection;
- Helium balloon numbers : 0, and 1 - 9, in a 'Numbers' Collection.
- The 4K HDR image (used by me to light the balloons for the purposes of creating the gallery images).
The creative process
The balloons were created by me, using cloth simulations (with some pinning, for the seams) and sculpting. The Cloth modifier and Subdivision surface modifiers have been Applied.
For the purposes of presenting the balloons in this product listing, a few simple materials (gold, silver, green, blue, purple, pink, red and black) have been applied to them, as shown throughout the image gallery. For each, the node set-up is nothing more than a 'Principled BSDF' shader and a 'Material Output' node, as show here :
As you can see, you may very easily alter these materials, or add your own.
Real-world dimensions
The balloons are set to be approximately 70 cm high.

The gallery images in this product listing were rendered in Cycles, using a 4K HDR image (included in your purchase).
Blender versions
The balloons were created in Blender version 3.5.1. As the simple materials I have applied to the balloons includes a 'Principled BSDF' shader, as is, they may be used in any version from Blender 2.79 (when the 'Principled BSDF' shader was introduced) to the current version of Blender. Of course, if need be, instead of using the Principled BSDF shader, you may use the Diffuse shader, Glossy shader, etc
Appending & placement into your Blender Scene
- Open the .blend file for the Scene you're creating.
- Click 'File' then 'Append...'.
- Navigate to the .blend file included inyour purchase, and double-click on it.
- Go into the 'Object' sub-folder.
- Select the appropriate mesh.
- Click on the 'Append' button.
- The mesh will now have been appended to your own Blender scene.
Moving & placing a particular balloon in 3D space in Blender
A balloon may be 'grabbed' (using the 'G' key) and moved in 3D space.
